Accessibility Standards

The Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland's web site content is developed to permit access to the widest possible audience.

This web site has been designed to ensure it meets W3C’s requirements of WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) as well as Section III of the Disability Discrimination Act, allowing COPNI to obtain conformance standard “AA”. Please contact us at communications@copni.org if you have any difficulty using the site, or would like to suggest improvements.

Screen Readers

Various software programs can be used to improve access to web information by people with a range of disabilities. COPNI's site will work with a wide variety of the most popular screen readers. If you find this is not the case please contact us at communications@copni.org.
